Responsibilities

Essential functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Monitor and research competitive and technology trends that strengthen the Company's long-term competitive position
  • Drive the management and implementation of innovative communications, marketing, leasing and advertising programs by utilizing emerging technologies to improve efficiencies 
  • Take the lead role in ensuring the Company's CRM application is leveraged effectively and efficiently to ensure customer services expectations are met and performance trends identified
  • Research and develop policies, work processes, and procedures for Highmark business functions as deemed necessary
  • Supervise and manage all marketing technology platforms, support desk, and workflow process
  • Maintain a professional and organized library of information, language, data, digital assets and documents 
  • Provide leadership and expertise to the Company by building, developing and managing a marketing team capable of carrying out marketing strategies and tactics
  • Grow and advocate for department and existing team members ensuring the group is visible and supported across the organization 
  • Ensure all marketing communications and initiatives are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and are an effective use of resources
  • Create and manage annual marketing budgets and expenditures
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve business goals
  • Oversee the management of an institutional and system-wide benchmark system to track, measure and analyze marketing expenditures 
  • Oversee the Company's local optimization program ensuring best practices are in place, and accurate data is communicated across the web
  • Review current market data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and create effective short and long-term response strategies to improve or enhance the operations and financial performance 
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and analytical analysis of Highmark's Reputation Management Program 
  • Oversee the execution of all social media strategies and programs to ensure brand consistency and policy adherence
  • Manage the Company's online marketing and collateral stores providing a streamlined ordering process of pre-negotiated branded items 
  • Prepare proposals, reports and presentations associated with RFPs to promote new business development and growth
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the market research function
  • Oversee the marketing and leasing on-boarding process for new acquisitions
  • Oversee the logistical planning and implementation of quarterly sales meetings and related corporate programs
  • Create and monitor innovative educational curricula to bring about improved performance in leasing, community operations, customer service, and resident retention
  • Develop, coordinate and supervise a biannual educational conference providing professional and personal growth opportunities for associates

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Seeking candidates with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and proven leadership track-record
  • The individual should be able to process information quickly and simplify complex ideas; Collaborates and inspires other team members, and can work independently and autonomously; Works well in group problem-solving situations 
  • 15 years in real estate marketing with a specialty in multifamily
  • 10 years of managing and growing an effective marketing team with consistent goal attainment required
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with digital, social media platforms and automated marketing systems.
  • Ability to execute in the trenches, while providing strategic leadership
  • Strong commitment to a team-oriented approach with the ability to train, manage and develop a team
