Responsibilities

Why we need you:     

The Operations Support Specialist will assist with the management, direction, and implementation of national operation strategies and objectives to ensure the successful achievement of Highmark's operational efficiency and profitability objectives.

 

Essential functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide daily property support regarding Yardi integrations and other technical programs with integration vendors such as renter’s insurance, screening, collections, appliance rental, answering service, etc.
  • Project management.
  • Work with operational vendors for Yardi integration and other technical programs regarding issues and problem resolution, reporting, program changes or updates, adding or removing properties, etc., for existing integrations and programs, as well as the setup and implementation of new integrations and programs.
  • Assist in implementing new programs, initiatives, and special projects, including evaluation, beta testing, creating training materials, rollout training, follow-up, and ongoing program and material updates and maintenance.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of various operational data and provide accurate summary of findings.
  • Provide operational support to other corporate departments.
  • Work independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
  • Perform special assignments as directed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Multifamily industry experience, 3 years minimum
  • Bachelor’s Degree or some secondary education preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word) and Canva
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including proper grammar and etiquette
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent proofing skills to ensure high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work in a continuously evolving and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work alone and collaborate with peers on training and support objectives
  • Must show initiative and flexibility
  • Ability to coordinate activities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and in front of a group of associates
  • Customer service mindset
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Blue Moon experience preferred

 Phyiscal Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate detailed written and/or verbal instructions to others accurately and quickly
  • Frequent writing, typing, receiving and giving verbal and written communication
  • Must have normal range of vision, hearing, and speech
  • Required to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel overnight as required, approximately 10%
  • Must be able to travel and incur expenses on a personal credit card with a reimbursement turnaround process that may take up to 30 days
