Overview

Purpose: The Marketing Technology Manager provides support and leadership to the regional and apartment community teams, ensuring that Highmark marketing initiatives are successful, and technologies are performing optimally. In addition to supporting these teams, the Marketing Technology Manager will serve as a crucial link between marketing and IT. The role requires the ability to act as a liaison within the marketing function and then translate that marketing vision to a technology implementation to deliver on marketing goals.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Support
    • Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority, and nature, looking for trends to address or solve.
    • Support regional marketing team member employee onboarding processes with marketing-based training and continuing education
    • Utilize help desk ticket system if available or comparable process with purposes to document, track, assign, re-assign, and/or escalate issues to ensure timely resolutions for our regional and community team members
  • Domain Management
    • Manage, administer, and maintain website domains for Highmark's portfolio of assets, including purchases, transfers, renewals, etc.
    • Effectively manage the communication of website domains between regional marketing teams, agency partners, and property owners.
  • Google Analytics and Google Suite
    • Implement, support, and maintain transitions from Google Universal Analytics to GA4
    • Set-up and management of additional Google products (Tag Manager, Search Console, Data Studio, etc.) and reporting for our portfolio of communities
    • Assist regional marketing with community website updates including the installation of code, updating integrations, design formatting, etc.
    • Oversee workflow in Google as it relates to acquisitions & dispositions
  • SEO
    • Remain familiar with changes & trends related to SEO management
    • Establish & maintain SEO strategy
    • Oversee implementation of SEO strategy when delegated to other teams
    • Identify and provide SEO best practices to teams that assist with SEO projects & keep them up to date as they evolve
  • Marketing Technology & Performance
    • Assist with the set-up and onboarding of technology pilots and initiative rollouts
    • Assist with the set-up and onboarding of existing marketing systems and platforms for new communities to the Highmark portfolio as well as communities transitioning out of the portfolio
    • Remain familiar with current and emerging technology resources
    • Work alongside agency partners to maintain and enhance the performance of our corporate website (HighmarkRes.com) and community websites
  • Focus on Highmark analytics for purposes of Business Intelligence, consistent reporting practices and other data-based influences upon Highmark business decisions.
  • Compose and publish educational articles related to common issues observed by the Digital Marketing Manager team for regional and community team members to company communication platforms

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Multifamily experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio, and Google Analytics
  • Solid knowledge of Google platform including Google Analytics, AdWords, and Business Profile
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Suite, Monday.com (or applicable project management platform), Google Workspace
  • Property Management Systems required (Rent Café, Yardi CRM Queue, Yardi Voyager, Yieldstar, Knock Rentals, etc)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrate professional conduct, appearance, communication, positive change agent, ethical decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must have the ability to travel for industry and company events to different locations within the US
  • Position is Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend hours if necessary to complete pending assignments, company events, and conferences
  • Must have valid driver’s license
